A break in Putrajaya Marriott..

31 August 2006 (Happy National Day!) Rain.

I like to visit hotel. Simply to taste everything from top to toe. For this time, I was dropped by to Marriott, putrajaya for a high tea.

The first moment when I got to know the high tea is finalized in Marriott Putrajaya, it was like an appulsion, due to the bad memory that associated with this branch. In fact, I've never thought to "visit" her.

Sorry to be harsh, but i've once being screwed up by its marketing dept in attempt for an interview. It was a service marketing assignment. I first tried Shangri-la Putrajaya, yet ended up with frustration by bureaucracy. Can you imagine an Asst. Service Marketing Manager explain to you that he is not the right person to answer you, instead his supervisor whom he was in UK for meeting? Providing it is being long dragged to reach this "conclusion" (sigh..)

Well, it's okay for a long deal which last for 1 whole month is thrown away. I went through everything again with Marriott, Putrajaya. This time, i were once delighted + impressed by the instant reply from the HQ in US. They showed me the correct email of the person in-charged. (Millions thanks to his kindness, Mr.Brown)

By counting the pity time which is left, I went through everything fast to catch time. I was filled with thousand hopes for a positive reply. Guess what? I don't get a reply until today!! ...... No more sigh, but silent. Thing goes around comes around. I must admit the standard of professionalism of this so-called famous hotel group located in PUTRAJAYA is bad. I totally regret of putting high expectation on them.

Haha, well it is okay because the assignment is eventually completed with the support from The Prince hotel in KL town. Thank god~

So it is over. Let's see what i've found in Marriott, Putrajaya:

1) The elegance interior design from its front view at Lobby. (some of the "fish" is dead. You can see no more water is coming out from its mouth haha!)

2)Terrance Cafe. (The high tea definately not worth for Rm46++ per person)

3)However, food & venue was not the highlight. Instead, a meaningful gathering with my beloved friends did!

4)This two gentlemen entertained everyone by their expressive vocal and tone. They are the candle of the night!

5) It was a good time in overall. I will miss you guys. Be good in all your undertakings. We will meet up in future again! Goodbye my friends~

Hey. Marriott is a really nice hotel and resort. We also have one here in Miri, Sarawak. Of course, it is expensive. RM200+ fee per month for a member of its club and RM 70 or 80+ for buffet dinner. But of course, it is a good hotel with good services and offers. :)
